Blessing on Buying a Sofa
Question
A childless couple buying a sofa, should they recite the blessing 'Shehecheyanu' or 'Hatov Vehametiv', and should the woman also recite the blessing?

Shalom Rav,
Since both benefit from the purchase, the blessing 'Hatov Vehametiv' is recited.
The man should recite the blessing, and the woman fulfills her obligation through him.
