What blessing is recited upon seeing the sea?
Answer
One who has not seen the sea for thirty days recites the blessing 'Oseh Ma'aseh Bereshit'. As stated, the blessing 'Oseh Ma'aseh Bereshit' is recited on both the Mediterranean Sea and the Kinneret, but no blessing is recited on the Dead Sea.
