The Blessing for a Free Hat and Suit

Receiving a hat and suit for free, should one recite the blessing 'Shehechiyanu' or 'Hatov Vehametiv'?

Answer

The custom is to recite the blessing 'Shehechiyanu', and even if one recites 'Hatov Vehametiv', it is acceptable.
