Time for the Blessing of Gomel for a New Mother

From when until when can a new mother recite the blessing of Gomel? Is there a specific time for this, or can she say it whenever it is convenient for her?

Shalom Rav,
The blessing should be recited from seven days after the birth onwards. Ideally, she should not delay the blessing, but according to the law, she can recite it until the next birth.
