Ice Cream: Food or Drink
Question
Is ice cream considered food or drink in terms of the time required for the obligation of the final blessing? Should it be measured by the olive-sized amount for eating or by the revi'it measure for drinking?
Answer
Ice cream is considered a drink, and since it is not consumed in the measure of drinking a revi'it, no final blessing is recited after it.
