Question
Is ice cream considered food or drink regarding the time required for the obligation of the final blessing? Should it be measured by the olive-sized amount for eating or by the revi'it amount for drinking?
Answer
Ice cream is considered food, and if one eats an olive-sized amount within the time required for eating, a final blessing should be recited.
