Working After Noon and Mincha Prayer

Hello,
There is a halacha that a person should not begin work that takes a long time after midday.
Based on this, should a person who works as an employee pray Mincha Gedola in order to continue working?

Hello
One who has started work does not need to stop even after the time for Mincha has arrived, as long as there is still time to pray.
