Attending a Mixed Wedding
Question
Recently, I got to know a second cousin for the first time in my life, and she invited me to her son’s wedding, but added that he is not religious and that the wedding will be accordingly. Am I allowed to go? I feel that precisely because we have only now had the opportunity to get to know each other, it would make her especially happy, and it would distress her if I do not come.
