Halachic Significance of a Second Name

Question

If a girl is given a second name after her grandmother in order to honor the parents, but this name is not used, and even at the time of the naming there is no intention to use it, does this name have halachic significance, for example for the ketubah and the like?

Answer

Shalom u’vrachah

Yes, it will be part of her name.

The name will need to be mentioned in the ketubah, in prayers for her, and the like.
