Modesty of a Girl When She Is Alone
Question
I wanted to ask whether there is any problem for a girl (a teenage girl) to be in her room uncovered / in short pajamas / without a skirt, and the like?
I heard that some say that if there is no one in the room who sees her and there are no sacred books there, there is no problem.
But on the other hand, there is indeed the matter of always being modest.
What is the real answer?
And if she is truly alone in the room, with no sacred books, and is uncovered, is she committing a transgression?

Shalom u'vrachah.
Even when a person is alone in a room, one must be modest and not expose one’s body without need.
However, when there is a need, such as if she is doing so in order to get dressed, it is permitted.
This law applies to men as well: one should not expose the normally covered parts of one’s body without need.
