Is it permissible to do permanent makeup on the eyebrows? It involves engraving on the skin that does not penetrate the deep layers of the skin and lasts about two years. Thank you very much!

According to the instructions of the Gaon, Rabbi A. Fried, shlita: It is forbidden to do so, as it is also considered a tattoo.
However, one should not protest against those who are lenient, as there are opinions that permit it.
