Fragrance products for men
Question
Shalom, is a man allowed to apply to his body oil with a pleasant scent (perfume/cosmetics)? Thank you.
Answer
Shalom u’vracha
A man is permitted to use fragrance products that are intended for men.
However, a talmid chacham (Torah scholar) should refrain from using perfumes and the like, but even a talmid chacham is allowed to use products that remove bad odor, such as deodorant and the like.
