Kiddush Over Wine “Heiter Mechirah”

Question

I performed the Kiddush and after I finished (before drinking), I noticed that the grape juice was “heiter mechirah” (it was made of grapes that were cultivated from a field that was fictitiously sold to a non-Jew during the Sabbatical year). What should I do?

Answer

Dear …!
Since it is forbidden to drink the wine, you have not fulfilled your obligation of Kiddush over wine, and you must perform the Kiddush again.
