Inserting a Hand Between the Stones of the Western Wall

Question

Is there a prohibition against inserting a hand between the stones of the Western Wall? What’s the source?

Answer

Greetings,
The authorities of later generations are divided on this matter, whether 'partial entry' is considered as entering the Temple Mount area, and is forbidden, since we are all ritually impure, or whether this is not considered 'entry' at all.
