Borrowed an egg carton and found blood in one egg

Question

What should one do if he borrowed a tray of eggs (which contains 30 eggs), and found blood in one of the eggs (which renders it unfit for consumption)? How much should he return? And if you were to say that he’s exempt from returning an egg for an egg with blood, would it be permissible for him to return 30 eggs without there being a problem of usury?

Answer

Greetings,
It is permissible to return a whole egg, since the egg being returned might also contain blood. Additionally, an egg is sold at the same price whether there is blood in it or not, and it is impossible to return it to the store.
