Koshering a Grill for Passover

Question

Is it possible, and if so, how, to make a gas grill kosher for Passover?

Answer

Peace be upon you,
Libun (a process of heating metal until it glows) is effective in koshering a chametz (leavened food) utensil for Passover. Therefore, for a grill, the surfaces that can be made to glow by fire should be heated until they glow. The other surfaces - such as the cover and the like - should be thoroughly cleaned, and covered with aluminum foil and the like, so that the kosher for Passover meat does not touch them.
