Operating a Clothes Dryer After Accepting Shabbos Before Sunset
Question
I have wet laundry and I want it to dry, but I also want to accept Shabbos. The machine will finish by sunset. Is it permissible for me to operate the machine and accept Shabbos, or do I need to wait for the machine to finish and only then accept Shabbos, because it is forbidden for the machine to operate when it is Shabbos?
Answer
It is permissible, and the prohibition is only after sunset. In a pressing situation, it can also be permitted until the stars come out.
