Request for the Kingdom of House of David

Question

I have a problem praying that the Messiah be from the House of David. What does it matter to me is who his father will be, what is the problem that the Messiah will be a son of Reuben?

Answer

Dear …,
We have an obligation to hope for and pray for the Kingship of the House of David. After King David worked on himself and set a program for himself that was passed down to his sons forever, God chose him and his descendants to be kings over Israel. When we pray for the King, we hope for a King according to God's will and according to the Jewish law.
In addition, our aspiration is for a King who can lead us and cause us to follow the laws of the Torah, and the prophets have revealed to us that this quality is only found in the House of David.
