Wearing Tefillin all day
Question
Is it permissible for me to wear Tefillin all day?
Answer
Only if you are confident in your ability to maintain a clean body [not to pass gas or fall asleep with them, and the like] and to refrain from impure thoughts. It is extremely difficult to consistently succeed in wearing them all day in a regular manner, therefore they are worn only during the morning prayer.
