Money whose owner is unknown

Question

The shopkeeper saw that he had mistakenly received a 200 shekel bill and did not know which customer had given it to him. He asked one of the customers and the customer said that he did not know if it belonged to him. What should he do with the bill?

Answer

Greetings and blessings!
The money should be held until Elijah arrives.
He can record that he’s holding 200 shekels for the bill’s owner, and meanwhile to use the money.
