Waiting between meat and fish
Question
Why does one not have to wait for six hours between meat and fish?
Answer
Dear …!
It’s the sages that revealed to us that it’s dangerous to eat fish and meat together, even though we can’t see the danger with our own eyes. Therefore, we have to rely on what they wrote, we can’t make up new laws ourselves.
Because they said that what is dangerous is only to eat them together, they did not say that there is danger involved in the taste that stays on the teeth or in the stomach, we don’t have to avoid this.
