Music for a mourner on chol-a-moed

Question

Is a mourner who is within a year (of passing of one of his parents) allowed to listen to music on chol-a-moed (intermediate days of Passover and Sukkoth).

Answer

Dear …!

Even on chol-a-moed he is not allowed to listen to music. (But this is only if he hears the music intentionally. If someone in his house turns on the music, and he hears it too, there is no prohibition even on a regular day.)
