Kosher Question

Question

Pasta was boiled in a pareve pot and then heated in a meat oven while meat was still in the oven then a day later the pasta was put in to a milk pot with cheese and heated. Is the milk pot and utensils a problem to use now?

Answer

Shalom!

Thank you for your question.

The answer would depend on whether the meat or the pasta in the oven was covered or open.

If the answer is that one of them was covered, then one can be lenient and permit everything, however, if the meat was not covered and only the pasta was covered then the parveh pot if it was placed in the oven would be considered as meaty.

If both were open, the food should not be eaten and the milk pot should be kashered, and the Parveh pot if it was placed in the oven would be considered as meaty
