Nida

Question

Hi how are u I want to know is there a way that I can touch my wife while she is a nida and no intimacy or is there a way that the Torah lets me do to make sure that she doesn’t become one Because this is one thing that might hold me back from being frum I need at least to touch her

Answer

Shalom!

Thank you for your question!

Any form of contact between husband and wife is forbidden during the Nidda period.

Although this may sound difficult at first, it truly becomes second nature. Furthermore, the “off times” causes the “on times” to be much more meaningful and fulfilling.

The laws of family purity are an essential part of Jewish life. They truly enrich a marriage, and I can assure you that observing them will be very worthwhile.
