Finance advice

Question

What is the best way to pay off debt I am struggling with it and don't make enough money a month to pay it off .

Answer

Shalom!

Thank you for your question.

I understand your challenging situation.

Although we are a website that deals with issues in Jewish law, and not financial advice, I will offer you a few brief thoughts.

1. Always live within your means

2. Always balance your budget and income.

3. Find a way that you can pay off your debts very slowly and long term

4. If the creditor will not allow you to pay off debts very slowly, consider asking a friend for a loan to pay off the creditor, and then pay off the friend slowly.

5. Praying to G-d and doing good deeds can only help us through our challenges.

6. Seek a financial adviser who will give you professional advice how to balance your budget and pay off the debt, it's worth it.

Wishing you the best of luck.
