Helping With Shabbat Invitations

Question

i am a frum girl, baalas teshuvah, and i have been struggling with shabbos. not that i dont want to keep it chas ve shalom, but, i don't get any invites for meals a lot of the time, resulting me on being by my self, my roommates ae never home so im entirely alone which cause me to be really upset and not ikeep shabbos, but i feel like its not because i want to but because the feeling of loneliness is so heavy that i cant overcome it.... what do i do? i dont know how to come out of this

I totally understand your predicament.

I recommend you get involved with your local synagogue and your local rabbi.

Explain to the rabbi your situation. I am certain that he can help you get invited out for most Shabbat meals. Get involved in all kinds of religious social/youth groups in your area. Look for Torah classes to attend and meet people there.

Expand your network. Be honest with people. And you will be getting more and more Shabbat invitations.
