Deliveries on Shabbat/Yom Tov

Question

ב'ה HaRav, I'd like to ask the following sheilah: By mistake I sent flowers to my Aunt forgetting that it's 2nd day chag. I asked the florist if they could kindly change it to Sunday but they apologized and said they're closed so I asked if they could deliver it on Monday and they apologized saying it's too short a notice. What can I do to rectify this matter, if there's anything?

Answer

Shalom!

Thank you for your question.

Since you ordered it from Erets Yisroel so for you there was no issue with Amirah le'akum so the flowers are not Muktseh for the receiver.

So you didn't do any Aveirah since it was delivered by a non jew..
