Hand washing
Question
Do you need a two handled negel vasser to perform this activity? Thank you
Answer
Shalom!
Thank you for your question.
The only requirement for the cup used to wash one’s hands, whether for the morning “negel vasser” or before bread, is that it must hold at least a reviit of water (about 5 ounces).
It does not matter whether there are 1, 2, or no handles on the cup.
