Listening to Torah in the toilet

Question

If I listen to a shiur via a speaker do I have to stop it when I go to the toilet or I can continue listening it when in the toilet, give that the speaker is outside?

Answer

Shalom!

Thank you for your question.

It is forbidden to even think about Torah topics while in the toilet. As such, you must close the shiur you are listening you before going to the toilet.
