Rechargeable Hearing Aid on Shabbos

Question

If I get a rechargeable hearing aid that needs to be charged every night, am I permitted to place the hearing aid on the recharger on Shabbos and Yom Tov if a Shabbos Clock will turn the recharger on AFTER I place the hearing aid on the recharger and I remove the hearing aid from the recharger AFTER the Shabbos Clock goes off?

Answer

Shalom!

Thank you for your question.

In the event that nothing is activated or trigger when the hearing aid is placed or removed from its base, then it is permitted to do as you have described.
