Advice: Bringing a Child Home from Israel

Question

My daughter is drudying in Israel and during this week it was very difficult for her to handle it. She would have a very important test next week but we decided to bring her to Brazil. She is now in doubt because she already travelled and she may have penalty not doing this test. I would like to know if we did the right thing and If H'could protect her from penalties

Answer

Shalom!

Thank you for your question.

All parents have different considerations for when a child should be brought home while studying in Israel. It could be a medical issue, a religious issue, or something else.

No one is going to second guess you or judge your decision to bring your daughter home. No one can tell you if you did the right thing or not. the main thing is rather than looking back, one should look forward and see what one can I do now for that will be in the best interest of my daughter

Consider praying that she not suffer any penalties or disadvantages for having gone home. May Hashem bring you blessing and success.
