Re-doing Work

Question

Hello I am a photographer. about half a year ago I took pictures for a family and sent them the pictures through 'jumbomail'. this is a website that lets you send pictures through their site. the contents of the email gets deleted after 7 days. it sends the receiver multiple emails reminding them to download the contend or they will be deleted. this family never downloaded the pictures and now they asked me if I can re-send it to them. the problem is that I lost access to those edited pictures (which take me roughly 10 minutes to edit each). I want to know weather I am mechuov to re-edit the pictures for them. many thanks for your help!!

Answer

Shalom!

Thank you for your question.

Since they never agreed to download it within 7 days,  A person can't force them that they have to take it, however, you should inquire as to what is the accepted time-frame for a photographer to keep the pictures, for a client.

Of course, if they told you to send it by jumbo mail and it was agreed that they would download it within seven days then it would be their loss.
