Tzniut for married couples in the house
Question
Rabbi, I live in Cancun and I'm about to get married. What sources can I read or what is the tzniut requirements for a couple inside the privacy of the house in very hot weather?
Answer
Shalom!
Thank you for your question.
It is true that a couple who is alone at home may not be truly bound to the same level of tzniut as when outside the home, this is brought in the Bach siman 2 that it is Middas Chasidus to be betsniyut even in one's house like outside, However Me'ikar Hadin one may be more lax with the way one dresses. Although the husband may not pray or say a Beracha "Divrey Kedusheh" in front of his wife if she is not properly dressed. if one's wife is a niddah then the laws of dress would change.
