Dairy cake in a parve oven

Question

My daughter baked a cake in the parev oven but she used a little milky chocolate. What’s the deal with the over now

Answer

If the proportion of milk in the entire cake is less than 1/60, the oven maintains its parve status.

Typically, chocolate contains no more than 50% milk, ensuring that even if the chocolate constitutes 1/30 of the cake, the oven retains its parve classification.

However, should the cake have a higher milk content, the oven becomes dairy. In such cases, it can be kashered by leaving it on maximum heat for half an hour.
