Afternoon Prayer or Early Shabbat

What is preferable, the afternoon prayer in a minyan (with a quorum) or accepting Shabbat ten minutes early?

Certainly, the afternoon prayer takes precedence.
The afternoon prayer is an obligation, while accepting Shabbat early is a just an extra virtue.
