Immersing a Challah Board and Knife

a. Is it necessary to immerse a challah cutting board that has glass on it? b. Is it necessary to kasher the knife that comes with the challah board with boiling water?

It is necessary to immerse both the board and the knife.
Sometimes they are made in the Land of Israel. In that case, they do not require immersion.
