Checking Cabbage

Question

Following the previous question about the cabbage, it was not specified how long to freeze it. How many hours should it be frozen? What exactly should I look for inside the cabbage? And is this about regular cabbage — I mean not Hasalat (hydroponic cabbage) — is this the way to check it? And what is the frequency/likelihood that I will find something inside the cabbage?

Answer

Shalom!
The cabbage needs to be frozen until it is frozen solid. It is difficult to give a specific time, as it depends on the size of the cabbage and the type of freezer.
Afterwards, the examination should be conducted as I wrote.
We are talking about light brown insects about one millimeter in size.
After freezing and a good wash, the chances are high that you will not find anything problematic.
