A Groove in the Wood of a Pergola

Question

There are pergolas in which a groove has been made in the wood to install lighting, such as LED strips. Is this considered significant? Does the groove turn the wood into a vessel that can receive impurity?

Answer

Greetings,

It is not considered a receptacle.
