A Ring Thrown into the Trash on Sabbath

Question

They removed the nylon tablecloth from the Sabbath table and put it in the trash. Afterwards, they noticed that a ring that was on the tablecloth was collected with it into the trash. Is it permissible to remove the nylon from the trash on Shabbos and take out the ring from there?

Answer

Shalom!
It is permissible to remove the tablecloth from the trash bin, and to take out the ring.
The nylon tablecloth is not muktzeh (set aside), since it has a ring, to which the tablecloth serves as its base.
