Kashering Parts of a Mixer

Question

Is it necessary to kasher a new metal mixer bowl with boiling water, and should the other parts of the mixer that come into contact with food be kashered?

Answer

Greetings,
The bowl usually undergoes polishing - and it is appropriate to treat it with boiling water.
The other parts do not undergo polishing, and there is no need to kasher them with boiling water.
