Blessing After Eating Ice Cream
Question
What is the final blessing recited after consuming an ice cream cone?
Answer
Greetings,
Usually, one does not consume a “kezais” (olive's volume) in one go, but rather licks it slowly, and then there is no need to recite a final blessing at all.
However, if by chance one consumed an olive's volume of the ice cream or popsicle within the time it takes to eat a meal [approximately 4 minutes], one should recite the appropriate final blessing.
If one is uncertain whether he consumed this amount, he should not recite a blessing.
