A Special Candle for “YaKNeHaZ”

Question

Is there any significance in using the Havdalah candles that are being sold this week at the stalls?

Answer

Greetings,
There is significance in a special candle for the Havdalah blessing, as ideally, we bless over a torch on Saturday night, meaning two connected candles. And if one connects one candle to another on a holiday, some say it is forbidden to separate them since this reduces the flame and is somewhat like extinguishing it.
Therefore, it is better to bless over a prepared torch.
[Of course, there is no significance in the purchased torch, and one can cut part of the Havdalah candle or glue two candles together on the eve of the holiday].
