On Discharging a Man with the Blessing 'Who Has Made Me According to His Will'

Question

If one is in doubt whether he has recited the blessing 'Who has not made me a woman,' and he has no other man to discharge him with the blessing, but only his wife or daughter, should he tell her to intend to discharge him with the blessing 'Who has made me according to His will' (which ostensibly is a comprehensive blessing, like the blessing 'Who has made everything'), or is there no point in this?

Answer

Peace be upon you,
This blessing was not instituted for a man, and therefore there is no point in his fulfilling his obligation with it.
