Disposal of the Cut-off Corner of a Sugar Packet
Question
When I tear off a corner of a sugar packet to empty its contents, do I need to immediately throw away the torn-off corner, or can I do this after I have poured the contents of the packet into a cup and then throw it away with the packet?
Answer
Greetings!
There is no need to dispose of it immediately, but once you have put down the torn-off corner, it is forbidden to pick it up again. Therefore, it should only be placed in the trash.
