Plum of Doubtful Orlah Status

Question

Dear Rabbi! I bought 30 kilograms of European plums from a Haredi farmer from Moshav Dalton. He claims that the trees are 15 years old. He currently does not have a supervisor for this, but he is willing to give me the phone number of an agronomist, recognized by the Badatz kashruth certification, who checked the trees in the past, and also the phone number of the head Rabbi of the settlement. He brought me boxes with fruit already detached, I did not see the harvest. The Orlah percentage of this plum is 0.17. Can I use the fruit? Thank you in advance, Shimon Rothstein.

Answer

Dear …!
Currently, one should rely on the presumption that only a small minority of all fruits are Orlah.
