Immersing a slice of bread in sugar on Rosh Hashanah

Question

Is there a practice to immerse the challah on Rosh Hashanah night in sugar instead of in salt?

Answer

Shalom!
Halachic authorities mention a custom to immerse the slice of bread in honey. In Kaf HaChaim it is mentioned, that if one does not have honey, one can immerse his bread in sugar.
