Remembering in the middle of a haircut that today is Rosh Chodesh

Question

On Friday, I began to shave in honor of Shabbat. Then, in the middle of shaving, I remembered that on Rosh Chodesh we do not get haircuts. Is it permitted for me to continue shaving?

Answer

Shalom!
It is permitted to continue, for the sake of human dignity.

This is brought by Halachic authorities regarding Passover eve after midday. And all the more so this is permitted in your case.
