Haircut on Rosh Chodesh in Honor of a Bris

Question

Tomorrow, God willing, I am going to bring my son into the covenant of our patriarch Abraham (by circumcising him). I would like to ask if it is permissible for me to get a haircut on Rosh Chodesh in honor of the Bris.

Answer

Shalom!
If you follow the Will of Rabbi Yehuda HaChassid, it is forbidden for you to get a haircut even in honor of the Bris (circumcision).
