The Blessing of Gomel for Salvation from Robbery
Question
We entered an Arab village and Arabs stopped our vehicle and demanded 10,000 NIS. After about 5 minutes, soldiers arrived and took us out of the village. Do we need to recite the Gomel blessing?

If there was no danger to life, no blessing is recited.
