Using a Non-Kosher Toaster with Baking Paper

Question

Shalom! I work in a non-religious office. I wanted to know if it is permitted to use their dairy toaster with baking paper?

Answer

Shalom!
In principle, paper can be helpful. However, baking paper tears easily, and often gets wet because of the items that are being heated in it. Therefore, if you are heating something dry, and the toaster is clean, it is permitted. And it is advisable to use two layers of paper.
